Countrybear Longarm Quilting is located in my home in
Arrington, TN. Your quilt will be quilted on a Gammill Vision machine in
my non-smoking home.
My goal is to provide completed quilts my customers will treasure for a lifetime.
I prefer to meet with each customer individually, taking time to discuss their
quilt and look over patterns and threads that best suit their particular quilt.
Pricing
I offer several pricing levels according to the complexity of the designs, pantographs being the most requested designs.
Basting
- $0.01 per square inch for horizontal and vertical
basting every 3 inches.
Edge to Edge - (Lg. Panto)- $0.015 per square
inch.
Edge to Edge Complex - $0.02 per square inch.
All over design with closer, more detailed design
Stippling - Small ~ $0.03 per square inch -
Medium & Large ~ $0.01 per square inch
Thread Charge - $5.00
There is a $25 deposit on all quilts.
Custom heirloom quilting, referring to very small,
tight, freehand quilting is $0.03 per square inch.
Any leftover fabric will be returned. I do not
do bindings.

Preparing Your Quilt
Backing Fabric for your quilt must be 6" longer than your quilt top on "all" sides of the backing and 6" longer on "all" sides of batting also if you are providing your own batting.
Both top and backing need to be squared as well as possible.
Try to keep waves in borders to a minimum, as many borders are difficult to quilt without producing puckers.
Remove basting pins Prior to your appointment.
Trim loose threads from back of quilt so they do not show through to the front.
Make sure seams are sewn tightly. VERY IMPORTANT!
